Give Blood!

Statistics show that about every three seconds, someone, somewhere in Kentucky needs blood. It could be a car accident victim, a child fighting cancer or an organ donor recipient. There is a very good chance that you or I will need a blood transfusion in our lifetime.

  Therefore, an adequate supply of blood must be built to meet any medical or health crisis across our 59-county central and eastern Kentucky service area. Think about it. Will enough of this precious, life-giving fluid be on a hospital's blood bank shelf the day you, a family member, friend, neighbor or co-worker needs it? It is up to all of us to do our part.
